Restaurant web design

My Favorite Design: A Beautiful Food Website for a Local Restaurant

This is one of my favorite projects, where I had the opportunity to design a stunning food website for a local restaurant in my district, Namsai. Inspired by the lush greenery and natural beauty of the area, I incorporated elements of nature into the design to create a visually appealing and harmonious aesthetic.

The client gave me full creative control, which allowed me to experiment with various design concepts and ideas. I focused on blending vibrant visuals, intuitive navigation, and a warm, earthy color palette to reflect both the restaurant’s essence and the charm of our district.

The final design not only highlights the restaurant’s offerings but also captures the spirit of Namsai’s natural surroundings, making it one of the most fulfilling projects I have worked on.

Job search web design

A Technical Challenge: Designing an Information-Based Job Website

This project was a bit more technical, as it involved designing a job-related, information-centric website. Creating an appealing and user-friendly design for a site heavily focused on presenting information was one of the most challenging tasks I’ve faced. Making information visually attractive without overwhelming the user required a delicate balance and thoughtful execution.

To tackle this, I utilized key design principles such as grouping, contrast, and proximity. These techniques helped organize the content effectively, making it intuitive and easy to navigate. By emphasizing simplicity and elegance, I managed to create a stunning design that was both functional and visually pleasing.

The main focus was to ensure the design was easy on the eyes while keeping the content the center of attention. My efforts paid off, as the client—a local business—was highly satisfied with the outcome. This project reinforced my belief in the power of thoughtful design to transform even the most technical and information-heavy websites into aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly experiences.

UI/UX agency website

A Favorite Project: Designing for a UI/UX Design Agency

This project holds a special place in my portfolio because UI/UX design is my core profession and passion. The website was for a UI/UX design agency, and while I didn’t have complete creative freedom, the collaborative process made it an enriching experience. The owner was highly cooperative and involved, making it a rewarding opportunity to work with someone who shared a similar enthusiasm for design.

For this project, I emphasized a design-centric approach to reflect the essence of a UI/UX-focused business. I incorporated vibrant colors to showcase creativity and innovation, which are core to the UI/UX industry. To enhance readability and create striking contrast, I used a sleek black background that made the foreground elements, including fonts and graphics, stand out prominently.

One of the key highlights of the design was the placement of an image of an elderly man on the right side of the page. This visual element symbolized the agency’s many years of design expertise, adding a sense of trust and credibility to the site.

This project allowed me to merge creative expression with functional design, resulting in a visually appealing and meaningful website. It was an incredible learning experience and one of the most fulfilling projects I have undertaken.

Non veg salad cloud kitchen

Cloud Kitchen Website Design for a Local Gym and Athlete-Focused Brand

This project was for a cloud kitchen based in my nearby district, Pasighat, that specializes in preparing and delivering green non-veg salads for gym-goers and athletes. I focused on creating a design that highlighted the unique nature of the kitchen’s offerings, using green to represent the vegetarian ingredients and orange for the non-vegetarian elements. This color scheme helped emphasize the core message of healthy, balanced meals.

Since the menu offered only a limited number of items, I chose to use large, eye-catching images to fill the page and showcase the quality of the food. The design was kept simple, with the primary focus on the visuals and clear communication. However, the design process was a bit challenging as I spent nearly a week brainstorming ideas. The client wasn’t initially satisfied with my proposed designs, which led to several revisions. Despite the challenges, I used their feedback to refine the design, ensuring it better aligned with their vision.

Additionally, I paid close attention to the user experience, designing an intuitive order flow that allows customers to easily track their order progress—from preparation to delivery. This feature was crucial for the kitchen’s business model, ensuring users could stay updated and engaged throughout the process.

In the end, the project was successful, and the client was pleased with the final outcome. This experience helped me grow as a designer, teaching me the importance of collaboration and adaptability in bringing ideas to life.
